Advances in camcorder and computer technology have made it possible for family members to professionally document and edit their history. In this introductory course, methods and process will be discussed and demonstrated as we produce short documentary segments. Using family photo albums and basic interviewing techniques, adults will be able to pass on their rich family histories on videotape or DVD. Come prepared with your family photos or your stories of the Town of Sand Lake's rich history that may be included in our town's bicentennial in 2012. Also, the experience of veterans can become a part of the Library of Congress' Veteran Oral History Project. All family members are welcome. Bob Moore taught Social Studies and Video Production for 30 years in the Averill Park School District. He retired in 2006 and lives in the town of Sand Lake.
