The Honey DewDrops

Their voices, combined with guitar, banjo, and mandolin, create a sound that welcomes you in like a dear old friend. Hailing from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Kagey Parrish and Laura Wortman combine a high lonesome duet harmony vocal style with contagious energy and soulful new songs with a fresh approach. Warm and honest, their music fills up the room with sound and spirit. Along with the Honey Dewdrops, new this year, we are presenting the "Stars a'Rising" opener with twin sisters, Ashley and Emma Meyer. These high school freshmen love singing their close, a Cappella harmonies. As seventh graders they qualified for "The X-Factor" TV show to round three, and also wowed the judges to become winners in the SLCA talent show.
