Using Appalachian mountain dulcimer, Native American flute, ukulele, drums and electronic effects, Futch deftly navigates the varied waters of traditional and modern Americana with passion, wit and a genuinely huge heart for sharing music with a crowd.
Along with the concert, Bing will be offering two workshops, Native American Flute Playing and Mountain Dulcimer Master Class, held that same afternoon at Sand Lake Town Hall beginning at 2pm and continuing through 4:15pm, followed by supper, then on to SLCA for the concert.
To kick off the concert will be Our Stars a'Rising opener, the group "KeBam, members of The Brunswick Steel Drummers,"
made up of talented students from Tamarac School.
