SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, a foot stomping musical with some hilarious comedy, is one of the most widely produced plays in the country.

Set in the 1930s, this musical tale introduces the singing Sanders family who share their stories through the gospel songs they performed at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in North Carolina.

NEEDED: People with excellent acting and musical ability!
Must be able to sing old time gospel harmonies and
play traditional acoustic instruments.

Pastor Oglethorpe -	Man in twenties
June -	Girl in late teens (uses sign language/plays percussion)
Dennis -	Boy slightly younger
Denise -	His twin sister
Vera -	Their mother
Burl -	Her husband/father of children
Stanley -	Burl's older black-sheep brother
